On September 6th, 2007, I had the great privilege to meet 17-year-old Jessi Bettcher and her dad, Dale at their home in Brewster, New York. The Bettcher’s gave the following interview about Jessi’s heart condition, idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy, and the heart transplant that saved her life.
